Content Management Solutions

Web site owners with a need to make frequent changes to their site's content may wish for a way to make these edits themselves. Even if you aren't a web programmer, you can easily manage the static* pages of your web site by using a Content Management System (CMS).

T2Designs can build your web site so that you can edit your site's content. This is accomplished through a combination of two steps:

  1. Special coding is placed in your web pages which will allow you to make changes to editable areas (text and images) while protecting sensitive areas (like site navigation & overall design).

  2. The use of easy-to-use editing software installed on your computer. With access to the internet, you'll be able to browse to your site and make changes -- online or offline.

Cost: The cost for incorporating CMS into a web site designed by T2Designs starts as low as $5 per page (10 page minimum), plus the cost of the management software (see below).

Contribute software must be purchased (approximately $170) by the client directly from Adobe. For more information about its great features, visit Adobe's Contribute Page.

*Static Pages: Most standard web pages are written in HTML code which doesn't change unless someone manually edits the page. These pages are considered "static." In contrast, pages that are built through information outside the page (for example, an e-commerce that is build from a shopping cart database) are considered "dynamic" and are usually edited through a separate administration area. Our CMS allows users to edit the content of their static pages.
